Schmierer et al. v. Home Depot U.S.A., Inc. (Case No. 3:26-cv-03967) was filed May 1, 2026 in federal court in California. The complaint says Home Depot runs automated license plate recognition cameras from Flock Safety in its California store lots, capturing plates, vehicle details, timestamps, and locations for a database searchable by law enforcement nationwide.
