Parents across the country are filing individual lawsuits against Roblox Corporation. The complaints say the platform let adult predators reach children, that grooming, solicitation and sextortion often started on Roblox and continued on Discord, and that Roblox knew about the risk and did not add age restrictions, moderation or other safeguards. Some suits also target addictive features and in-game purchases.

These are individual injury cases, not a class action, and there is no settlement or fund. A partner intake screens families who want to talk to a lawyer. Availability is limited, and submitting the form is free.

What the families allege

Two lines of claims run through the filings. The first is safety: that Roblox ran a platform used heavily by young children without effective barriers between them and adults, and that exploitation followed. The second is design: that game mechanics and in-game purchases were built to keep kids playing and spending, causing emotional distress and financial loss. Discord appears in many cases because the contact moved there after starting on Roblox.

Where the litigation stands

Active and growing. New cases are being filed, and no court has approved a settlement. The intake is flagged as limited availability, which means the firms taking cases can stop accepting new ones as their dockets fill. There is no claim deadline because there is no settlement. A lawyer who takes your case advises on timing.

Who the intake is for

  • A parent or guardian of a child who was groomed, solicited, or subjected to sextortion through Roblox, or through Discord after first contact on Roblox.
  • A child who developed a gaming addiction or emotional harm tied to Roblox's features.
  • A family that lost money through in-game purchases linked to those features.

What happens after you sign up

The form collects your contact details and a short description of what happened. A law firm reviews it and, if it wants to represent your family, reaches out to discuss a separate agreement. Filling out the form does not make you a client and does not create an attorney-client relationship. Nobody can promise a result.

The intake is attorney advertising. Payout lists it as one free option and has no role in the review.

Questions about the Roblox case

Is there a Roblox class action settlement?

No. These are individual lawsuits by families. No settlement has been reached and no fund exists.

Does my child's case need to involve Discord?

No. Discord shows up in many complaints because contact moved there, but the claims are about what happened on or through Roblox.

Does signing up cost anything?

No. The intake is free, and any fee arrangement comes later in a written agreement you can refuse.

Can I sign up on behalf of my child?

Yes. The intake is built for parents and guardians reporting harm to a minor.
